Call for Participants: youth led climate action
Posted on behalf of Dr. Benjamin Bowman, July 2019
Have you been involved in a climate strike or other youth led climate action? Would you be interested in a research project, including training in research methods like: interview skills, surveys and reporting findings?
I am a researcher at Manchester Metropolitan University looking for participants aged around 14-24 for a project on young people involved in climate action. As well as developing research skills, you can also get involved in: outreach to other young activists, analysing what other participants have to say, outreach to new audiences, and publication as part of the project.
This is a Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) project to empower young people to learn and apply research techniques to support social change. The research is funded by a grant from The Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). Participants can remain anonymous. Full information on data protection, privacy and ethics process will be provided.
